Molecular magnetism

The Molecular Magnetism team develops a research activity on complex magnetic structures involving metal ions and / or radicals. It is based on two complementary axes:

- Determination of the electronic structure of synthetic molecules or biological systems by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) at high field and high frequency (HF-EPR).

- Synthesis and processing of multifunctional molecular materials and compounds with remarkable magnetic properties. This activity relies on both organic and coordination synthesis and goes all the way from synthesis itself to structure determination and magnetometry.
